L-Band 20MW High Power Klystron

An L-band 20MW wide band Multi-Beam Klystron (MBK) had been successfully developed. The structure of seven-cavity, coaxial cavities and multi-beam was adopted and the klystron is fabricated and tested. Under the condition of the pulse width of

, the beam voltage of 146.8kV and the duty cycle of 0.1%, the maximum peak power of 23.1MW was obtained with instantaneous bandwidth of 4.6% and efficiency of 56%.
