Application of block pulse function in simulating system of differential equations

Gaining insights into the real world problems like biological ones are challenging because of their inherent complex and nonlinear nature. Fractional order description of those processes is quite logical because of their non-local nature. Since there is no single semi-analytical or numerical method that can address all of these problems, attempts are still being made to provide effective and trustworthy numerical methods in order to get the closest solution possible. Plant-herbivore model with arbitrary order description has been simulated using Block Pulse function (BPF), which involved less computational burden.
