Synthesis of an Isotropic Reactance Structure from Several Incident and Reflected Waves

In this work, a two-dimensional problem of synthesizing an inhomogeneous isotropic impedance plane that reflects several homogeneous plane waves incident at given angles in the required number of directions is solved for the first time. Formulas for reflection coefficients are given. A Kirchhoff’’black’’ body model for several incident waves is proposed. The reactance distribution laws in the physical optics approximation are obtained in an explicit form.
