Modeling and Control Technology of Grid Side Converter under Transient Harmonic Disturbance

Transient harmonic sources such as magnetizing inrush current entering the grid side converter (GSC) will cause the voltage and current harmonic distortion of GSC, and voltage fluctuation of the DC bus, resulting in a series of power quality problems. Aiming at the existing power quality problems of GSC under voltage transient harmonics, first, the mathematical model of GSC under voltage transient harmonics is established. Next, a control strategy with flexible adjustment of harmonic impedance based on resonant regulator and repetitive controller is proposed, which can suppress the voltage and current transient harmonics of GSC respectively at different periods. Finally, we use the simulation to verify its effectiveness compared with traditional vector control strategy.
