Quantization-Based Watermarking Methods with Reduced Distortion

The article discusses new quantization-based watermarking algorithms characterized by a reduced level of distortions introduced when embedding a watermark relative to other algorithms of this family. These algorithms are studied on model data with a given distribution of values, and also applied to real data: grayscale images, as well as JPEG DCT coefficients. The conducted experiments confirmed the advantages of the proposed algorithms in comparison with analogues.
