IoT Assisted Oxygen Control Monitoring in Microbial Propagation for Shrimp Ponds

Oxygen control in microbial propagation for shrimp ponds by monitoring through IoT system the objective is to create and develop an oxygen control system for microbial propagation in shrimp ponds via an IoT system. It is a system that controls the amount of oxygen in the tank of microbial propagation for shrimp ponds by measuring the amount of dissolved oxygen in the water that the sensor can measure, which will be displayed via the Blynk application on a mobile phone. Determination of the performance of oxygen control in microbial propagation for shrimp ponds by monitoring through IoT system and comparing dissolved oxygen measurements in the shrimp pond propagation tank between the laboratory dissolved oxygen meter and an oxygen control system in microbial propagation for shrimp ponds with an IoT system with an oxygen sensor in the water. By checking the dissolved oxygen content in the microbial expansion tank for shrimp ponds every day, three times a day at 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. It will take no more than 72 hours to compare the accuracy of the measuring instrument between the oxygen meter in the water and the oxygen control system in microbial propagation for shrimp ponds using an IoT system with oxygen sensors in the water. When considering the values obtained from the dissolved oxygen measurement test in all periods of testing, the results show that the total dissolved oxygen measured by the oxygen meter was 5.48 mg/l, and the total dissolved oxygen value measured by the oxygen control system in microbial propagation for shrimp ponds using the IoT system was 5.47 mg/l. The dissolved oxygen value measured by the oxygen meter was 0.01 mg/l higher than the dissolved oxygen from the oxygen control system for shrimp aquaculture with IoT systems, representing an average error of 0.2%.
