Self Regulated Energy Efficient Data Aggregation in Precision Agriculture

In case of precision agriculture, sensors are deployed to monitor some common environmental attributes (temperature/humidity/water level etc.). These parameters may not be updated over the interval but sensors continue sense/transmit this data thus results in redundancy at large scale. It also consumes the network resources unnecessary. This study introduces a LEACH routing protocol, a self-organized energy efficient data aggregation approach to resolve the above discussed issue and its performance will be compared with the traditional data aggregation scheme.
