Laser processing of NdFeB micro-array structure

NdFeB is widely used in micro electromagnetic linear motors because of its excellent magnetic properties, but its hard and brittle characteristics deteriorate its machinability and thus affect its application prospects. Laser processing finds wide application in the field of hard and brittle materials because of its high energy density, small heat affected zone and high processing accuracy. In order to produce high quality micro-array structures on NdFeB surface, this paper investigated the influence of laser parameters on the processing of micro-array structures on NdFeB surface, and seeked the optimal parameters for laser processing. This paper provides useful help for the processing of NdFeB surface microstructures, which can help to improve the performance of the slider in micro linear motor and promote its upgrading.
