CS-SCHT Sequences for Asynchronous Multicarrier Communications System

In this paper, we derive the bit-error rate (BER) expression for asynchronous multicarrier communications systems using complex sequences over Rician fading channels. Simultaneously, we evaluate the BER performance of conjugate symmetric sequency-ordered complex Hadamard transform (CS-SCHT) sequences with Walsh-Hadamard transform (WHT), sequency-ordered complex Hadamard transform (SCHT) sequences, and half-spectrum property unified complex Hadamard transform (HSP-UCHT) under the system. The numerical simulations are implemented and the results show that CS-SCHT outperform other three sequences in the presence of multiple access interference (MAI) and the additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN).
