Optimized Scheduling of the AC/DC Hybrid Distribution Network Considering the Operating State of Flexible Energy Resources

A large number of renewable energy and new load are connected to the distribution network. While promoting energy conservation and emission reduction, its power uncertainty also brings challenges to the stable operation of the distribution network. Compared with the traditional AC distribution network, the AC/DC hybrid distribution network has a more flexible power regulation ability, which can promote the consumption of distributed power supply and reduce the voltage fluctuation. Therefore, the power optimization method of AC-DC hybrid distribution network considering the operating state of various equipment is proposed. Multi-state probability modeling is conducted for the AC-DC distribution network and distribution network containing distributed photovoltaic, electric vehicles, communication base stations and energy storage. On this basis, the system operation cost is minimized as the goal, and the SecondOrder Cone Programming method is used to solve the model. The proposed method is verified with the AC/DC hybrid system. The results show that the proposed method can coordinate multiple devices, including converters, and effectively improve the economic benefits of the distribution network.
