A Multi-Agent Based Wide-Area Protection Scheme for Distributed Cyber Energy System

To tackle the network attack problem, combined with the characteristics of a stealthy attack against a stability control system, a multi-agent wide-area protection scheme for distributed cyber energy systems is proposed. The scheme adopts distributed multi-layer architecture, which is composed of substation stability control devices distributed in different areas and monitoring terminal of control center. By collecting the measurement updates of each station randomly and dynamically, the online real-time detection of the distributed cyber energy system is realized with the specified anomaly detection algorithm. The simulation results show that this method can detect the attack on the distributed cyber energy system in time, and effectively avoid the physical damage of power generator.
