Intravenous Fluid Telemetry System

Health care facilities are progressively merging into our day to day lives as new diseases and ailments are discovered. Numerous healthcare facilities have incorporated advancements made in a variety of smart technology over the years to ensure that patients recover rapidly. Almost in all hospitals, nurses oversee tracking the intravenous (IV) fluid levels. Most usually, because of their hectic schedules, they forget to change the bottle at the appropriate time, which can lead to issues for the patient by causing back flow of blood towards the bottle. An intravenous fluid monitoring system is suggested as a solution to this problem. The idea is aimed in automating the fluid monitoring system using Node MCU. The data collected from sensors can be accessed in a mobile app which is then transferred to cloud via a Wi-Fi module. The mobile application has nurse login and management login. The nurse login displays the level of IV fluid bottle of each room. The management login monitors the effective performance of the nurse. The installation of the suggested device would eliminate the need for constant staff supervision, especially at night, which would lower the risk of patient harm and improve the precision of hospital care.
