An international perspective on ECHO and ECG interpretation skills: Insights from a KAP survey of medical residents in India

Echocardiography is a vital tool for the diagnosis and prognosis of arrhythmias, and it has become an indispensable component of diagnostic cardiology. Similarly, interpreting electrocardiograms (ECGs) is a crucial skill in cardiology, family medicine, internal medicine, and emergency medicine. Due to the complexity of the anatomy and technical aspects involved, as well as the diverse clinical scenarios and management implications, supervised experience is essential to avoid errors. The aim of this study is to analyze and enhance awareness of ECHO and ECG interpretation among Indian and international medical students.
