Design and Analysis of the Controller for Novel 6-DOF Magnetic Suspension Platform

To improve the speed of mass transfer, a novel magnetic suspension platform with ultra-precision, large stroke and high start/stop acceleration is designed. One of the innovations of this new magnetic suspension platform is there are three magnetic bearings. The model of the suspension force is established. The controller of the actuator is designed. To achieve stable suspension of the actuator, the characteristics of the controller were studied. And the Matlab/Simulink is used to build controller modules. The effect of s and m values on the stability of the system is investigated. To improve the anti-interference of the actuator. the PID algorithm is used, and the effect of different values of P, I, D on the control system is investigated. The optimal values of P, I, and D are obtained with the MATLAB software.
