Bandpass NGD Design of Double Radial Coupled Loop Microstrip Circuit

In this paper, a new design of bandpass negative group delay (NGD) microstrip circuit with double radial arm and square shape loop or Vlo-shape structure is studied and presented. The bandpass NGD design method is described based on the geometrical parameters of microwave circuit. Then, simulation results illustrating the bandpass NGD behavior around 2.51 GHz is discussed. The well correlated simulation and experimentation results show that the Vlo-shape circuit indicates a NGD value of approximately -1.8 ns over 41 MHz NGD bandwidth.
