Optimized FLPID using TLBO algorithm: Applied to Quadrotor (UAV) system

In this paper, to control the quadrotor system, an optimized Fuzzy Logic PID controller employed Teaching Learning Based optimization algorithm (FLPID-TLBO) is suggested. In order to evaluate the performances of this controller, a comparison study between the FLPID-TLBO and a Fuzzy Logic PID (FLPID) controller is performed. Using the dynamic model of the quadrotor, several simulations are conducted under MATLAB software. The outcomes attained show that the suggested FLPID-TLBO controller is efficient in convergence speed and tracking accuracy.
