Design and Analysis of Signalling Techniques for 5G NR using Cadence AWR

Potential issue with 4Gnetworks is their capacity to handle large amounts of data traffic. especially in densely populated areas.. During peak usage hours. 4G networks can become congested and slower speeds can result. This can be frustrating for users who require fast and reliable connections. Finally. it’s worth noting that 4G networks consume more power and are less efficient in their use of network resources than 5G networks. This can resultin slower response times and increased costs for network operators. Overall. while 4G networks are still highly capable and reliable for most mobile Due to these drawbacks and limitations the new 5G NR mobile communication system aims to support a very large and flexible set of services and to support large scale heterogeneous traffic and users by using different signaling techniques. The important components of 5G modulation and waveform that determine the system throughput, reliability, complexity and discussing promising technology for 5G wireless communication system such as Network Energy-Efficiency, latency and Peak data rate Communication. To achieve high spectral efficiency, modulation is the key factor of the physical layer. This study discusses about different 5G signaling techniques, designing and finally making a comparison analysis among them, to deliver spectrum efficiency, low latency, mobility and peak data rates etc. To meet these demands for new 5G NR, advance signaling techniques such as Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing, Filtered OFDM, Generalized Frequency Division Multiplexing, and Filter Bank Multi-Carrier have been proposed. The main objective of this design and research is to identify the best signalling techniques for efficient data transmission and receiving in modern 5G NR communication systems. This research proposes to design and simulate different signalling techniques such as OFDM, F-OFDM, GFDM, and FBMC using Cadence AWR software. Different parameters like carrier frequency, number of carriers, subcarrier spacing, and bit error rate are being considered for each signalling technique to evaluate its performance. The paper aims to compare the performance of these techniques based on the different parameters and provide insights into their effectiveness and limitations. The analysis of these techniques will help us to identify the optimal performance configuration for 5G signalling techniques for various 5G applications. The paper results are expected to contribute significantly to the advancement of 5G communication systems, enabling higher data rates, lower latency, and improved spectral efficiency. So, this study can identify different challenges that will show significant impact on signalling technique design for 5G NR
