Research on the influence of Managerial Overconfidence on performance commitment

This paper takes the listed companies whose performance commitment period is 2013-2021 as the research object, and examines whether the overconfidence of enterprise management will affect the performance commitment risk with computer technology. Empirical research shows that overconfidence of enterprise management will increase the risk of failure of target performance commitment. The mechanism of this effect is consistent with the theory of behavioral finance that "the cognitive bias of psychological activities on their own abilities will affect their related behaviors In addition, experiments have proved that institutional investment and shareholding can regulate the negative correlation between overconfidence and performance commitment risk of enterprise management.
