Design of series voltage compensation device based on rectifier-inverter unit

A series voltage compensation device based on rectifier-inverter unit is designed for the possible low voltage problem at the end of the distribution network. The compensation device adopts single-phase three-level rectifier unit and single-phase full-bridge inverter unit, and the control strategy of each unit is designed accordingly, so that the device can quickly ensure normal stability of the end voltage when low voltage problems occur. The voltage characteristics at both ends of the load before and after the compensation unit is connected are compared by simulation construction. The experimental results show that the proposed series voltage compensation device can significantly improve the end voltage of the grid and has good dynamic response capability, which can effectively solve the load-side low voltage problem.
