Near-Nyquist Optical Pulse Generation by Parametric Process in Highly Nonlinear Fiber

We propose a novel scheme to generate near-Nyquist optical pulse with a flexible and adjustable duty cycle based on the parametric process in high nonlinear optical fibers. Near-Nyquist pulses with duty cycles of 10.86%, 8.54% and 7.32% are obtained.
