A Low Complexity Panoramic Spectrum Monitoring Algorithm

For panoramic spectrum monitoring, the traditional 50 percent overlapping sub-filter channelization structure has the problem of high complexity and high hardware resource consumption. Focusing on this, we exploit the complementary characteristics of the transition band of sub-filters and propose a 25 percent overlapping channelization structure. By doing so, it can reduce the number of sub-filters and hardware resource consumption considerably. The simulation results show that the proposed structure can also successfully reconstruct the non-aliasing and non-blind zone spectrum as the traditional one does, and saves about 30 percent of the resource consumption.
