Research on Lateral Impact Resistance of Concrete Filled Steel Tubular Columns

The dynamic response of concrete filled steel tubular composite columns subjected to impact is a complex nonlinear process. In this paper, the finite element model of the steel frame is established by using the ABAQUS explicit dynamic analysis module. The impact velocity, the impact position and the impact quality of the impact block on the dynamic response of the composite column under impact are studied by the parametric analysis method. The results show that the results of numerical simulation are consistent with the law of conservation of energy for steel frame columns under impact, and the results are reliable. The displacement response of the column increases with the increase of the impact mass, and the displacement response of the column increases with the increase of the impact velocity, and the displacement response of the column increases with the decrease of the boundary constraint.
