Design and Analysis of MPPT using Advanced PSO based on Fuzzy Fokker Planck Solution under Partial Shading Condition

Recent economic surge in the area of renewable energy and owing to climate change has enhanced the production of clean and green solar PV in developing countries. Due limited efficiency of solar PV modules, generating maximum power from solar PV modules has become area of interest for researchers. In order to extract maximum possible power, Solar PV is operated with Maximum power point tracker (MPPT). Operating SPV under partial shading condition along with maximum power point is still a parameter which requires improvement. The paper presents a P & O MPPT based particle swarm optimization with improved search space, which has been optimized using Fuzzy Fokker Planck solution. Here the partial shading condition has been tested under four different concentrations. Validation of the proposed work has been carried out using hardware setup and simulation studies. Simulation results has been carried using MATLAB, and its noticed that the proposed MPPT technique offers higher and better performance in terms of MPP convergence by improving the efficiency of the proposed system under partial shading condition and making the system robust.
