Characterization of Ultrawideband Hybrid Antenna

To radiate high-power ultrawideband pulses, a hybrid antenna design has been developed based on an offset reflector and a 4-element array of combined antennas excited by high-voltage bipolar pulses with a duration of 0.5 ns. Test low-voltage measurements of the characteristics of a hybrid antenna were performed when pulses with linear, orthogonal, and elliptical polarizations were emitted.
