Microstrip Resonator on Stub and Section

In conventional stub-based resonators two stubs are used - open-circuited or open- and short-circuited. In the presented paper resonator on one stub and a transmission line section is proposed. Such a constructive solution simplifies the resonator design and reduces it transverse (relative to the wave propagation direction) size. The admittance characteristics of the section as a reactive and transforming element of the resonator are considered. A section based on several segments is proposed. The transmission responses of resonators on open-and short-circuited stubs and a transmission line section are given.
