Forecasting Based Analysis of EV Market

The study aims to analyze a futuristic view of the automobile industry conducive to the penetration of Electric Vehicles (EVs) for which a thorough analysis is imperative. Emphasis has been made on the roll-out of EVs along with supporting charging infrastructure. Primarily, the study experiments with deep learning models for predicting EV stock in 2030 for the Indian capital city of Delhi. These models not only ensure novelty in time series forecasting but also give the liberty of incorporating multiple factors affecting the EV market. Further, an estimation of EV stock for different mobility scenarios has been made. The models are versatile and adjustable to changes in geographic location and corresponding variables.
