A miniaturized Isolator Based on Lumped Elements

In this work, a miniaturized isolator is proposed for 2.4-GHz applications, which is mainly composed of a ferrite disc and several lumped components. Through loading the stripline junction isolator with lumped elements, the total size of the isolator can be greatly reduced. The full-wave simulation results demonstrate that the insertion loss of the isolator is less than 0.76 dB in the frequency band of 2.35 GHz - 2.45 GHz, the return loss is more than 17 dB, and the isolation is more than 13dB.
