Sensitivity Analysis of the Availability of an Islanded Microgrid with a Sequential Monte-Carlo Simulation

This paper shows the implementation and the results of a sequential Monte-Carlo simulation applied to a given microgrid for a high-availability application to determine which and how strongly the parameters of the microgrid components, for example, the energy-storage capacity, the failure and repair rates of the sources and energy-storage units, influence the overall microgrid availability, here represented as a cluster containing ten power sources and one battery.
