A Review on Strategies for Hybrid DC/AC Microgrid Power Management

Microgrids are integrated electricity systems that are relatively compact. The microgrid is a cluster of distributed generators, an energy storage system with a controllable load. The Power management, as well as stability of hybrid DC/ AC microgrid, are discussed in detail in this work. While the stand-alone operation is a crucial aspect of microgrids, their full potential will not be achieved until grid connection and a smooth transition are implemented. This work attempts to address some of the many questions that remain about these operation modes. Given that it is closely related to the other operating states of the microgrid, the standalone mode has been changed. The conditions for connecting microgrids to the main grid are examined. Comparing hybrid DC/AC microgrids to other microgrid topologies reveals that they have more benefits in terms of efficiency and economy.
