Grid Integrated Electrical Vehicle Bi-Directional Charging Station

Grid fed EV system is proposed in this paper. The bi-directional power flow is achieved using buck-boost converter topology such that the EV batteries can be replace as a source of energy storage and as a source during peak hours hence, support the grid profile. For connecting the grid with the overall system, an AC-DC converter with an LCL filter is used. The MATLAB software is used to carry out the overall simulation and modeling work and the results are verified at various conditions.
