This study analysed sun-oriented power framework arranging and plan techniques in light of geographic data frameworks (GIS). Sunlight based energy is the most valuable sustainable asset for customary use. Sun oriented power plants are essential for ordinary use in homes and different structures. Using remote detecting and geographic data frameworks, potential sun-based power plant areas in Kolkata and the close by West Bengal district of India were tracked down in this review. The consequences of this study can be utilized by managers, metropolitan organizers, engineers, and different partners to execute and develop another sunlight-based power plant in the review region. Since GISs are reasonable for taking care of geospatial information connected with sun-based asset and site appropriateness conditions on different scales, their utilization in sun-oriented power framework arranging and configuration could be extended.
