High Voltage Battery Management System Hardware and Software Design for Photovoltaic Energy Systems

lithium-ion battery pack. This paper proposes a 3-level flying capacitor DC-DC converter in the hardware design with simulation results. Also, it proposes a state-of-charge (SoC) estimation method, a battery modelling for LG INR18650 MH1 lithium-ion battery cells and temperature effect in the thermal management strategy as a software design by using simulation and experimental test results.
