Harmonics Minimization Using Non-Linear Feedback Control Based Hybrid Filter

The solid-state electronics and equipment utilised in three-phase distribution systems are the root of the power quality (PQ) issues. Large harmonic currents with low input power factor are produced by these non-linear loads, which pose challenging problems for the power system network. To solve these problems, numerous unique power solutions have been used. In order to reduce for harmonic and reactive power, this work uses a shunt hybrid filter with a proposed back-stepping control. The suggested approach has improved current tracking behavior and raised PQ. Using the MATLAB/Simulink tool, the proposed control strategy has tested the standard approach. In terms of harmonic distortion minimization, it has been found that the suggested method performs better than the traditional approach.
