Analyzing the life cycle service provided by two different types of Generators used in Wind Power Plants

In today’s World, Wind Energy is one of the cleanest energy among all types of renewable energy resources as it produce almost zero emission during production. However, the performance of the wind power plant is depends on wind speed variation of selected locations as well as selection of wind turbine types. Therefore, this paper investigates the performance of two different types of mostly used wind turbines utilized in an existing onshore wind power plant. Further, the performance of onshore wind turbines are compared with one assumed non-coastal wind power plant to check the output variation. Moreover, climate change effects have been checked for both the locations to identify the performance of both types of turbines. Here, the authors are expecting that both the turbines will perform efficiently under any wind speed condition. The paper concluded that at the same speed, onshore generator-based wind turbines are performing better than non-coastal generator-based wind turbines.
