Analytical Modelling and Performance Analysis of Resource Utilization Using Proactive Contention System in Highly Mobile Environments

In highly mobile environments, resource allocation and analysis have a significant impact on system performance. However, there is a still chance that a mobile subscriber will wait for the channel but never receive it because of their mobility, which will negatively affect network performance. In order to improve the efficient use of network sources, it is required to assess the proactive contention. The resource utilization employing proactive contention in highly mobile situations is discussed in this paper along with an analytical approach. A two-stage open queueing model is used to represent the proposed system. A well-known exact spectral expansion model is used for the performance analysis. The analysis focuses on mean queue length, blocking probability and mean response time outputs. The results showed that the QoS measurements could be enhanced by considering the radius and distance between the networks.
