Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface Based Microstrip Patch Antenna

The development of reconfigurable intelligent surfaces has shown how to improve a variety of areas of next-generation communications. With the pressure put on it, scalable networks of propagation are provided. The antenna features a stretchable antenna with reconfigurable abilities. This work describes a narrowband, highly effective smart antenna whose reconfiguration changes depending on the stress applied to it. The developed patch antenna has dimensions of 80×29.4 mm2. The physical characteristics of the EVA substrate tend to alter when an external stretch force is applied, which also affects the substrate's dielectric characteristics. The suggested antenna provides a 3.6GHz frequency with improved gain and VSWR characteristics. As a result, the work is applicable for 5G NR FRl, Wi-Fi 6E, UWB, and Wi-Max applications.
