Compact Dual Polarized Ultrawideband (UWB) Antipodal Vivaldi Antenna for Rover Based GPR System

The design of a compact ultrawideband (UWB) dual polarized antipodal Vivaldi antenna has been presented in the manuscript. 4 nos. of compact single polarized antipodal Vivaldi antennas, designed with exponential tapering, have been arranged in the box configuration. The antenna elements having like polarizations are combined with a 1:2 wideband Wilkinson power divide and hence, dual polarization has been obtained. The proposed antenna has volume
