Faults Diagnosis of Active Power Filter Using Fuzzy Logic Controller under Different Conditions

this paper proposes faults diagnosis of three- phase Shunt Active Power Filter (SAPF) Using a fuzzy logic controller under different conditions such as harmonic distortion and open circuit voltage. First, the p q theory is employed to obtain the reference harmonic currents. The fuzzy logic controller is adopted to regulate the DC-Link voltage for three phase inverter of SAPF. Hysteresis band current is used to obtain the gate pulses of three phase inverter switches. The filter is developed and simulated. The proposed system should maintain the THD well within harmonic standards. After that, fault diagnosis is performed using three-phase system algorithm to isolate the faulty phase. Obtained results are analyzed and verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
