Research on UWB-Based Data Fusion Positioning Method

It is difficult for a single sensor to achieve good positioning accuracy due to the complex environment of the indoor positioning. In order to improve the accuracy and stability of the positioning system, UWB and other sensors can be used for fusion positioning which can combine the advantages of different positioning methods. Based on the UWB multi-systems fusion positioning experimental platform, this paper analyze the effect of multi-sensor data fusion positioning by comparing and analyzing UWB positioning, encoder and attitude sensor positioning and data fusion positioning of the three sensors. The result shows that the data fusion positioning method designed in this paper can improve the overall positioning accuracy and stability, and can avoid the positioning failure caused by the loss of UWB positioning signal.
