Smart Wearable Glove for the Visually Impaired Person as a Third Eye

Being independent is the ability to have freedom and to live without being controlled by others. But for blind people, simple tasks like walking in a crowd and travelling from one place to another are difficult and challenging. The third eye helps to overcome difficulties and decrease the challenges faced by blind people in their life. Obstacle detection and warning can increase the protection of blind people, especially in new environments. In this paper, the assistive system for visually challenged people is based on obstacle detection using Arduino Uno, and an Ultrasonic sensor is designed. Firstly, objects are detected, and then the information about the hindrances will be sent to the blind using different modes such as buzz and vibration. Blind people will move independently as well as comfortably by using this device. The blind person can be able to survive their life with ease. Thus, this device is helpful for blind people to travel from one place to another. This project was made to design a device which is eco-friendly, cost-effective, and easy to use with little or no training.
