Super-Twisting Sliding Mode Control for Segmented Long Primary Double-Sided Induction Motor

To reduce the current and thrust fluctuations of segmented long primary double-sided induction motor (LPDSLIM) in the switching process, a current controller based on the super-twisting sliding mode control (ST-SMC) for segmented LP-DSLIM considering switching is proposed in this paper. First, the power supply network and switching process are described, and the mathematical model of the system is built in phase-domain. Then, ST-SMC is introduced to the current control. Simulation verifies the effectiveness of ST-SMC controller for segmented LP-DSLIM considering switching.
