Improved UWB Antenna for 5G System Using Meta-Materials

Four proposed antennas are discussed, and the best properties for fabrication have been selected in this article. The best property here is the gain, bandwidth and efficiency. The design steps were as follows. In the beginning, the UltraWide Band (UWB) antenna was designed with a traditional square shape, and then a part of it was trimmed in the shape of a stair, then two types of meta-materials were added to it, and the change was studied, and the best properties were selected. Meta-materials (MTM) have been added to the front and back of the antenna; the types of these (MTM) are squire split ring resonator (SRR) and circular SRR. To shorten the article, not all the details of this study, but only the results of it, were mentioned.
