Research on License Plate Recognition System Based on OpenCV

License plate recognition is mainly realized by image processing, pattern recognition, machine vision and other new technologies. The application of license plate recognition system plays a very important role in the convenience of people's life. At first, the paper discusses the difficult problems existing in the current license plate recognition, designs a license plate recognition system based on OpenCV, expounds the key technologies of the license plate recognition process in detail, and verifies the scheme through experiments. The experimental results show that the license plate recognition system based on OpenCV has the characteristics of high recognition accuracy and fast response speed, and is a feasible scheme.
