A Low-Profile Broadband Antenna Array

In this paper, a low-profile broadband antenna array is proposed for 2.4-GHz applications. The antenna unit is mainly composed of a dual-element folded dipole and a parasitic ring. The antenna array is composed of
$3\times 3$
unit cells and a feeding network. The measured results demonstrate that the antenna array can realize the VSWR of less than 1.8, the boresight gain of more than 14 dB, and the front-back ratio of more than 23 dB in the operation bandwidth.
