Time Reversal Focusing Characteristics in Rotating Metal Wire Arrays

Focusing characteristics of time-reversed electromagnetic waves in rotating metal wire arrays are investigated in this paper. A system model consisting of two metal wire arrays and a time reversal mirror (TRM) is set up for theoretical analysis. Through simulations, it can be seen that when one of the wire arrays is rotated, its corresponding channel response function will be changed. Thus, the time reversal (TR) focusing result cannot be obtained at the source antenna in this array, but can be still obtained at the source antenna in another array that has not been changed. The simulation results are consistent with the theoretical analysis.
