Theory and Analysis of Radiation Characteristics of Shorted Patch Antenna

This paper summarizes the theoretical calculation results of the radiation characteristics of various shorted patch antennas based on the cavity model theory, and gives the corresponding calculation process and the expressions of co-polarization and cross-polarization in E-plane and H-plane. The theoretical results are compared with the simulation results, and the reasons for the differences are analyzed.
