A Fast Transient Response Capacitor-Less LDO Achieving -88 dB PSR at 10 kHz

A capacitor-less LDO with fast response achieving - 88dB PSR at 10kHz in
$0.18\upmu\mathrm{m}$
BCD process is proposed. A Frequency Compensation and Fast Transient response Enhancement Circuit (FC&FTEC) and a Negative Capacitance Circuit (NCC) are applied, in order to enhance the PSR and response. The post simulation results show that the LDO achieves -88 dB PSR at 10kHz. When the load current changes from 300 μA to
$50 mA$
or from 50mA to
$300uA$
, the rise time and the fall time are 100 ns respectively, the recovery time is less than 2.02
$\upmu\mathrm{s}$
, the quiescent current is 126
$\upmu\mathrm{A}$
. The undershoot and overshoot are only 98mV and 185mV respectively.
