Application of Partial Modification Method to Solve Electromagnetic Scattering from Object with Varying Resistive Film

In this paper, we research the electromagnetic scattering reduction problem of perfect electric conductor (PEC) target with the resistive film structure based on the partial modification method (PMM). When the resistive film changes, the traditional method of moments (MoM) will repeat the calculation of the overall target. Through the partial modification algorithm, the self-impedance matrix of the PEC target that does not change can be calculated only once and the inverse matrix can be used for subsequent calculations when the resistive film changes. This method shortens the calculation time. The numerical results prove the superiority of the method.
