Optimal Aperture Inversion of Anomalous-Reflection-Beam Steering on Fractional Coding Metasurfaces

In this paper, a 2-bit coding metasurface for the small phase shift range of beamforming is proposed, in which the code of metasurface is adjusted by genetic algorithm to change the array factors to improve the beamforming performance of the metasurface. The simulation results show that two parameters of beamforming are improved obviously after optimization.
