Optimal Demand Response of Smart Buildings with Utilization of Renewable Energy Sources

The paper presents a method for electrical load control using an optimization procedure to determine the optimal energy consumption with the utilization of different types of loads depending on their control opportunities, batteries, and renewable energy sources. The method gives flexibility to the energy system in the smart building.
